Compression. On yamaha xlt 1200
Came across pair at good deal and one isn't running the engine sized up other one runs has 100 105 and 100 psi across. The reason so cheap because been use in salt water whole of her life and other one engine sized up was from salt water got in lower half and left not cleaned up. And the running one has oily all over jet pump area from exhaust and owner claimed it's from seafoam which I don't believe.

How many hours? Compression my be a little lower than comfortable, so expect a top end in near future. The oil residue could also have been from extra oil in the mix. Poor maintenance shows up worse in salt water. The non running one may not be a bad deal depending on price of it didn't lose an oil line and all cylinders are good.
