FZS clutch spins one way but only reach 6,500 rpm?

I am working on a friends 2011 yamaha fzs, Max speed reached 90kph at 6,500 rpm. But took forever to get there. Getting some boost but not at all times. new spark plugs, oil, oil filter.

Checked the supercharger, only turns one way... I am suspecting the supercharger clutch since its not allowing to pass 6500 rpms. Had that on mine however my clutch spins both ways. Here i am confused but still makes me wonder if it can still be the clutch if the teethes are not broken, nor does it turn both way. Can the same happen if the clutch is on its way out. How can i confirm or be sure.

    Your help much appreciated.

Yes, the clutch can still be bad and pass the "spin test." My clutch would only turn one way, but had failed and I had the same symptoms. My clutch was bad, but would only spin one way.

Check for leaks in the exhaust or intake.
