    Protec

Anyone have any experience with the Protec CDI modification and the adjustable controller for a 1200PV motor? If so, what are the pros & cons V.S. Advent.

    Thanks!

The Pro-Tec CDI mod only modifies the Rev Limiter.
The PV controller works great with or without the other mod. it does require cutting wires and splicing it in.

This was a popular Mod prior to the advent. advantges to the advent are selectable timing curves for various mods as well as PV control and the ability to send it in and get it altered if you need.

Thanks Bill. That was a lightening fast reply!

Do you have PC displays mounted on your GPR's viewing this forum 24X7 so you don't miss anything as you prepare them for your Vacation?

Also, by accident I posted this in the classified section. How do I move it to a different section, or do I just repost it?

    Thanks, Scott

    Protec

Does anyone have a working adjustable PV controller available for testing with the Protec modified CDI that I already have?

    Thanks, Scott

Thanks Chip I strand corrected. I guess I should have looked it up first. Scott I appologize for the misinformation it looks like they do advance the timing curve. I have to assume it is even on all three cylinders?
