    Go Pro Hero3+ video playback

I took my Hero 3+ out for the first time today. I had it recording at 1080p 60FPS. When I am playing it back on my computer the video is very slow and choppy. I would always shoot 720 30FPS on my Hero 2 and it played back pretty good. Is there a way to down convert the file to make it play back better? The Hero 3+ doesnt even give me the option of 30FPS on 720p. 60 is the lowest I can go.

The 60fps is for the slow MO function. Just do the 1080p 30fps.

If your computer can handle 720p60 playback that will give you more detailed video at speed on the water.

720p60 is also the standard for HDTV playback of 720 video.

For 1080 the standard for HDTV is (unfortunately) only 30 frames per second.

How well a computer plays back HD video is affected by what software is being used for the actual playback and the computing power available.

1080p60 is a heavy video load for many computers, roughly four times the heft of 720p30.

I will try 720 60fps next time. I had it set to 1080p 60 fps by accident. I really wanted 30 fps.

While we are talking about GoPro stuff. I have a question.....

How do you get music to over lay any voices or noise that was shot during the video???

I have added music but I still here my voice and other stuff... How do I get rid of my voice and just have the music???

I m using Go Pro Cineform as my editing software

You can do what you want with Windows Movie Maker, free on windows machines. Not sure if you have a windows machine or not.

Sample below, keep in mind I am not a video editing expert.

Looks like a really fun time you and your friends were having. You guys are crazy for Superman at those speeds. I imagine one wrong wave or bump would hurt falling off. Nice video though...
