    L13 cone and nozzle adjustments

So on my normal setup no spacers speed was 72.3 at 8180 +/- 10 rpms, I then installed 2 3mm spacers and then my rpms went to 7980 +/- 10 and speed went to 71.9 only a 0.4 mph drop with a 220 average rpm drop and I was wondering what bore size from an 87mm nozzle that would get me about 300rpms? 88 or 89mm? I don't want to repitch the prop as I am still testing various setups but I have five Nozzles to play with. Any ideas? Also what trim position are most getting their top speed up some or down?

I think I would pitch the prop and use the 87

Well its faster to bore out a nozzle then to send my prop out and since I have so many Nozzles it's not a huge problem. I'll have to try both I guess. I just have cavitation on holeshot and thought depitching would make this worse as it is easier to spin. It is banging the rev limiter. I have to let off.

So you still have cavitation even with the Lucky 13 cone ?

What prop and pitch are u using now? If u lean over the bars on launch does cav dissipate/go away? If so swap prop pitch and sit down.....then work nozzle...

It's only because I need a higher pitch prop but can't really use one higher and get the speeds I am.

Just remember to change only ONE thing at a time. That way you can see better what does what. If you try to change two or more things at once, you will be running in circles and making yourself crazy just trying to figure it out.

It's just like my job now, do one thing at a time to troubleshoot the error to find out the fix. That's all I would do.
