Post your highest hours on here.

Let's see who has highest hours. Post your here with year, model and engine size and what u have done with it maintenance and etc... and of course how many hours. The reason I start this thread is to see which engine has longer life. So far I know 717cc is a bulletproof will outlasted any other.

Its a two stroke thread. Beside. I know 4 stroke can last to 1000 hours when taken good care of.

Skymac (Justin) had a 96 GTX with a 787 carb that was all original with 460 hours when we plugged the candoo up. He rode that thing another season after that before it was traded off. I would bet it is still running. It had great compression still. All that was ever done was pump work, rave housings, and of course fuel line and carb maintenance. Keeping the carbs right on these old 2 smokers is the key to engine life. If they run rough and you think it will "clear out" after you run it for a while you are a FOOL! Rebuild those carbs and keep good oil in them and they will last for a LONG time.

I fixed a 951DI powered GTX last year that had 425 hours on it when it broke a RAVE valve and boogered a piston. Crank was still nice and tight.

Too bad you aren't a moderator... Perhaps a mod can move this to the seadoo general discussion forum. I am looking forward to input on this topic concerning both 2 and 4 strokes as i own BOTH...

Does anyone know how many decimal places are shown on the buds interface? I got the dealer to pull the hours on my xp the other day and it didn't show a decimal so it's somewhere between 2.5000 and 25000 lol.
