4-tec Oil Pressure
Just wondering if anyone know the oil pressure of a 4-tec engine ? Ive had a code and Limp mode on a fresh engine for oil pressure . I put a gauge on where the pressure sensor goes and cold at idle it had 80psi warmed up it dropped to 50psi at idle , and at 4500rpm it was around 80psi . when I had the sensor connected it would put a code (1520) oil at 3800rpm and with the sensor not connected , No code . after reading through threads I believe the oil pressure is correct and it looks like my sensor has failed ! can anyone confirm what I think is correct ..
