Question What levels at Ray Hubbard? What ramps are open?

Hi guys and gals, I've been lurking on green hulk for some time as I tinkered with my first pwc.

I'm new to PWC, I live in the Garland area, I desperately want to drop my SL650 in the water to be sure it runs right. I've read horror stories about ski's that rev good on the trailer and bog down in the water.

I know Ray Hubbard in down almost 7.5 ft as of today. I know the boat ramp on 66 is closed, the water is 100 ft from the ramp.

Are any of the other ramps even usable? Are they steep?

I know the water is still cold, and I'm not looking to race around the lake.

If anyone is a regular at ray hubbard, we gotta meet up, wanna make some PWC friends in DFW. I've only got a '92 Polaris SL650 so I think my range and speed are a little down compared to newer craft

I've read that all but the Little Ridge low water ramp at lavon. I also found this at the army corp of eng site. http://www.swf-wc.usace.army.mil/drought/drought.htm This helps, but doesn't cover Ray Hubbard.

    Anyone else find anything?

Hello Jdaffron, welcome to the Hulk. The Polaris SL650 is just fine and great for lake riding. They are a blast to ride because they are lite & turn /spin well, not bad on gas and a lot of room to work on them. It seems several lakes in the south & mid-west are very low currently. Here @ LOZ, the water is down to where most ramps are just barely in the water. Good Luck stay-n-touch
