    Hi,

Who can write his experiences to the above intake grates. Which grate is suitable for which application? Thank you very much.

OEM is great all around with the R&D a close second. This conclusion was made across all types of racing. Closed course, drag, and offshore by several skis and riders.

The stock intake grate most agree has a "vaccum/suction"effect on the water as you might have experienced as the ski stays glued to the water even in 1-2 ft chop and recovers easier in even rougher waters (3ft+) which is the beauty of the 300x

The R&D intake Grate does almost the same just not as severe,a little looser in the chop BUT I feel it "loads" the pump with water better with it's lower bar design and bigger scoop (wing) design,I believe it accelerates better in all types of water..

The Riva/TBM though tested in its different settings ,was having Boost issues at the time so couldn't come to any conclusion...
