    Gas can in front hatch

Would it be a bad idea to put a 2/3 gal can in the front hatch. Basically affixed to the main gas tank by bungee. Just thinking of ideas for longer ride without it attached to the back.

I was thinking the slim line 3 gal tanks and I doubt the gas would be in the hatch for too long as I would fill the tank before half is gone.

    Better to attach it outside.

    I have thought about it.

There are several options for outside. I've recently just been strapping gas cans to the swim platform via Bungie cords, tow eye and trailer loops on transom.

I too would love to have a little more fuel on-board, too bad nobody makes a larger fuel tank for a reasonable price.
