    Seadoo RXPX 2008 Impeller

Hi all, im looking for impeller advice for a 2008 RXP-X 255 with a remap to 8650rpm and valve gear upgrades retainers etc regarding Solas impeller choice? Looking for acceleration gains and some top end ideally? All else is stock, but would also change the grate if gains would be significant with impeller change.

    Thanks alot all advice appreciated

Ive got a 2010 px and put a skat trak 14/19 absolutely awesome.
Takes off like a jet. Zero cavitation and im doing 76mph

    My Mods are
    8650 remap
    Retainers
    Air Intake
    A kit supercharger wheel

Most on here will say solas but I swear by skat trak they stay hooked up heaps better

I think you guys get a different oem intake grate than the US model PX, so not sure when it starts stuffing. I would start to be worried in 75-78 mph range though. A R&D grate will give you 3 mph over a US PX oem grate and is safe to about 80 mph.

The Skat 3-blade will give you better holeshot, but gives up some top end against a Solas 4-blade. You may get a ski length on holeshot, but will lose on top if the race lasts long enough.

Thanks a lot guys for that, I had been looking at the solas 4 blade either a 15/21 or 14/19. I had heard and agree the 3 blade too aggressive and too much top end loss. And a aqua vein grate or loaded simila etc etc. Quite happy with the rev limits where they are currently, I know they can go higher.... Maybe next year haha, thanks again

Don't buy a Solas 14/19 the root angle is different than a 15/20,15/21,15/22. A Solas 14/19 can't be pitched to holsehot like a 15/20+. Any prop you get needs to be checked out/blueprinted that all blades are the correct degree.

I see R&D raised the price quite a bit on the PX intake grate, but its the one you need for speed. Not the CC one either.

You can get into the 80's on a PX with a 8650 rev limit with the right set up.
