Seadoo RXT 255 IS -09 right key panel error?!

    I have Seadoo RXT 255 IS 2009.
Infocenter says "right key panel error"...

    Buttons on right side:
    -Mode-button, up&down arrows works fine.
-Set-button and cruise are not working
So I can't enable anything modes, sport, eco etc.

    On left panel:
-VTS-buttons wont work either..? VTS can be trimmed with mode-button..
    -IS-button works fine!

Can someone help me with this?

one just rolled into the shop with this error, it's also an 2009 model...hmmmmmm

this looks like a significant error due to lac of functionality, but my customer isn't using all the available features ( except the throttle lever)

we'll see what candoo has to say about this tomorrow...

Just had the same problem on my 2013 a few weeks ago. Replaced right keypad and now all is well

how would you rate the difficulty of the replacement?

Figured it was going to be the switch..but a fail on a 2010 model?..now that's scary.

Guess the switch price @ $159, guess I'll slide over to t he parts dept to check...

<<update>>,,..switch is under $100..good news for the customer...Guess it's the standby Seadoo sealed in plastic affair

It's easy to change out. At least on the x handlebars it was. Three screws I think.

I have a 2009 RXT 255 IS as well. And I am having same issues. Left side VTS inop. And right side set button and cruise not working.

Will replacing the right side button set, fix all the issues including the cruise and the VTS button?? Or do I have to change all three??
