    SBT alignment tool for rxpx 260

    has anyone tried using this tool to check engine alignment, the plate they sent for the rxpx 260 does not mount to the shoe properly am i missing something

    They probably shipped you the older pump shoe plate. The new P-X plate should have 2 extra (line up) holes, and smaller holes for the 4 studs to come through.

    they did send the plate with the two extra hole for the pins but they do not line up

    the holes they did drill out where way oversized and still do not align with the pins on the shoe

    Mine had no holes...I didn't realize till I squished down the alignment pins. ended up nipping them off flush. Now can visibly see my shaft is a little low...but perfect side to side. Not sure if one is related to the other...but sure seems coincidental.

    Those... IMO don't matter anyway. Do the four stud holes line up properly, and are they sized to fit tightly on the studs?

    I had a mate turn out some adapters for my old SBT tool. Does the new SBT kit come with a through hull fitting adaptor so you can align that also?
