    02 700 polaris no spark

    Just installed new stator! Still no spark. purple/red wire has 12v w bilge on but while cranking v drops to just below 8v wat could be causing this

    Weak battery. Get a new one. You need over 10.6 volts while cranking to fire the plugs.

    Thats what i thought too, but used my battery that runs my other ski no prob and does same thing

    anything other then bad battery that could cause that all pos and neg wires are tight w clean connection

    i bought a new battery for my sl700cc. would not start up, checked it and i was getting just over 10 at crank. put same battery on my 750sxi and itll start it all day long. buy a good quality battery. polaris,s dont like cheap and nasties
