New solas impeller and less rpms

Hi I have a 2012 rxpx 260 and have a R&D aquavein intake grate ,Riva gen3 intercooler and have installed the Vtech 8375 aggr401 tune. When I had the oem impeller I was getting speeds of around 115 to 116 kilometres per hour and revs were at 8350. After I sucked up a rock I had a Solas SRZ-CD-15/20A impeller installed , Speed with new impeller got to 111 - 112 ks and revs only got to 7800. Supercharger was rebuilt two weeks ago. Do I need another impeller ?

I'd check if the new prop was pitched properly from the factory. Should be turning more RPM's.

Also with water and air temps up so high still and very humid we are all down on rpm! I bet in 2 months you will be heaps higher rpm like but check pitch first

500+ rpm drop is a lot..

I would check your hoses for boost leaks first..

I seriously doubt that the prop is out that much pitch to drop you 500 rpms.. but checking that is also a good idea..

The mechanic at the dealership fitted it and told me it would have less rpms . I thought with the vtech 8375 tune that the revs would get there with this solas 15/20 pitch. And i dont get why i should check the pitch , when solas make these impellers. I havent got a clue on how to check it and fix. Probably best to go and buy oem impeller. Thanks for your help anyway guys.

I would bet the supercharger slip is not set correctly, or you have a boost leak.

Solas do not obviously check the pitch too well mate, I have 4 solas props and only one was as it should be. Buy a pitch gauge they are cheap and you can check for yourself. Then you can just take a bit of pitch out of the prop and it will be sweet! But also check for boost leaks as Troy said.
