    Leaking head gasket

Replaced number three cylinder and put everything back. When I fired it up and turned on the water it was leaking out between the head and the cylinder. Compression was 120 all three. I bought a used head maybe it's warped? Something with the cylinder?

Was it running before you turned the water on? My water accidently came on before I started the ski and blew past and filled my crank cAse.

Those oem 3 piece gaskets are hard to get to leak. Did you torque the head bolts to spec?

Yes, double checked. I bought the head off eBay, but it looks good. Base gasket is on correct.

The water pours out the carb side of number three cylinder.

Is this gasket new or are you reusing the original one?

Check the cylinder surface and head surface for any pitting or imperfections.

There may be dirt or debris in between the layers

always pressure check the block after a build...or you will be tearing it down again.....also a good measure is to run rtv.....

There is a small imperfection on the cylinder in the area it leaks. How would I fix that? File it down or some type of gasket sealer
