XLT/GRP Pro-x pistons, carb body, cylinder core, reeds, pump housing, impeller, crank
I am finally getting around to selling my XLT1200, and I have some parts that aren't going with it. Make offers on anything. All prices do not include shipping. Send me a zip code for a shipping quote.
Cylinder - this cylinder has no cracks or damage, but the plating is worn through. It needs to be re-plated. $55 OBO
Good Pro-X pistons: The two good ones, size "D", and "B" have less than 10 hours on them. I will include wrist pin bearings with them, which also have 10 hours. $50 each OBO.
Scuffed Pro-X piston: Size "A", and not sure if it is re-usable. The scuffs appear to be light enough to file off, but the rings are probably shot. $25 OBO.
Reeds: These are actually in perfect condition. I only replaced them because I had the entire engine apart and figured why not do it now. They have 85 hours on them, and none of them hung open I still have the old screws too. Just clean them in acetone and use new loctite. $30
Crank: This has a shot inner bearing. I forgot which side, but it will need to be rebuilt. It did not suffer catastrophic damage, as the engine did not seize when the bearing let go. Shipping will be somewhat pricey on this one. I live in Shelton, CT. If anyone is somewhat local I can always try to meet them on a weekend somewhere close. I would imagine shipping is aroung $50-75 on this. I am asking $50 for the core.
Carb body and accel pump: Can be sold separately if desired. The carb has a frozen low speed adjuster screw. Not sure if it can be removed. $15
Impeller: Standard XLT impeller. Needs to be fixed up. I will scrap this if it isn't worth anything, but I figured I would ask. Send an offer if interested, with shipping included.
Impeller housing: The housing is in good shape, but it needs a new wear ring. $40
That seems to be all the parts I have left that aren't going with the ski. If anyone is interested in the ski, let me know. I spent about 6k and my entire 2012-2013 winter rebuilding it, but unfortunately it failed due to a stupid hidden crack in another cylinder (not the one for sale). I rebuilt it again, but my girlfriend was discouraged after seeing it fail and didn't seem comfortable on it, so I bought a new one. I probably will ask somewhere around $3200 with a trailer, but I haven't done my research yet to see what they are worth so that is only tentative off the top of my head.
PM any questions.
