    Power Filter performance?

Just wondering what kind of performance gains you guys have noticed from using the RIVA Power Filter for the RXP?

How many mph gained on top end?

    How much acceleration increased?

more rpms, which means you need a new prop or a repitch, and then that = more speed by a mph or so.

I know that, but Im looking for some numbers and not descriptions.

RIVA says 72mph from 67-68mph stock, but thats with the pump wedge. Even then a 4-5mph gain out of such a simple upgrade seems a little hard to believe. Now I hear some people saying that they're loosing top end with the wedge so they're taking it out.

What kind of numbers are you guys seeing with the RIVA Stage 1 for the RXP?

Give me some mph gains from stock.

You will not see 72 mph out of a Riva stage 1 kit unless you are going down some serious current

Yeah, 5mph gain seemed rediculous. Im just wondering if anyone has documented how much speed they gained from the power filter and solas 14/19R impeller?

You should see a couple MPH gain along with better acceleration. It's well worth the money.

    Thanks Jerry.

Im just looking to break the 70mph mark for next year. 2mph should do it up here in Michigan since Im usually running 68 or just above.

rxpkid... i think you can get your ski to hit 70 mph quite easily as i'm sure you are aware of the many ways... but i'm talking about the cheap ways so you can save urself some bucks.

i don't know your mods so forgive me for repetition.

get rid of OPAS = 70-75
air intake (riva or make your own for 30 bucks or so) or 225 riva
    SOLAS prop = 250
fill ride-plate and grate holes = 10 bucks?
    Riva intake grate = 130
    trim reverse bucket = freebie
    power pipe = 150

that's AT THE MOST 600bucks. that will get you more than 70 easily in my opinion (closer to that advertised **72)

800 bucks if you go for a riva intake

keep in mind, these are Riva RETAIL figures... richard (way2fast) will decrease those spendings
