Voltage from starter relay? Stx di 1100
Hey guys, Having an issue, long story...what I need to know is what voltage does your ski read off of the starter relay? I have 12.4 going in, only 9 coming out. I'm not getting spark to any spark plug and suspect this is the issue. Can someone check theirs?

The starter relay should not have any voltage drop through it.

9 volts to the starter sounds a bit low to me. IIRC, it should be about 10.5+. As Myself said, you really shouldn't have a significant drop across the relay. I'd bet the battery voltage drops to about 9 volts when you hit the start button.
Does it crank? Could be a weak battery, or loose/dirty connections anywhere in the circuit. An impeller that's dragging against the pump housing will slow the engine down, which will load the starter more and reduce the voltage measured across it.
