Place your bets????
Testing my new RXPX 14 tomor with all new mods as listed
Riva oil cooler
Riva free flow pipe
Ride plate mod
158 race sponsons
V Tech remap with custom 158 mapp to 8650rpm
SeaDoo centre -20c thermo mod
Before mods ski was hitting 8100rpm with 9hrs on her and hitting 66.5 with 3/4 a tank of 95oct fuel on glass lake, water temp about 4/5C. Please note the lake is very small as we don't have many big ones in the UK
and the ski was still pulling when I ran out of lake as well.
All speeds are taken with Tri pod mounted Stalker Pro radar gun, sorry no stupid ass GPS readings, real deal
Ski from now on will be running on Shell Plus (pump fuel sold over here with 99oct reading) from now on as well for all new tests.
So tomoro should be a very interesting day =)
Will keep you lot posted

only mods done are the ones listed, apart from that and a jet trim mat kit all standard. Ski will be raced in Stock class (yes I know the bypass will have to come back out)
rideplate trued and filled as well as the trim tabs.
Sorry but everyone goes on about GPS and how they do 80mph all day, unless its on a gun and an average over 5 passes its just not real (bet that remark will go down in flames LOL)
Ill post tomoro will results =)

I'd say 72 mph if you get enough room to run it out.
Prop really needs to be pitched to match the setup. Once its all dialed in I'd say you got a good solid 75MPH RXP-X.

With the right GPS, you will get a super accurate reading. You cannot get a good GPS reading from a phone or cheaper hand held. If your GPS has the latest SirfStarIV chipset, it uses a doppler method to calculate speed and will be just as accurate as radar gun. (Although radar is more accurate if your body of water has a current...)

75-76 should be about right. Im guessing its still pretty cool in the UK, so that should be easy!
