    RXT Newbie

Just bought a 2007 RXT and it's awesome!!! But I want more

Where do I start? I'm more than satisfied with the hole shot, but wouldn't mind having some more top end....According to the the speedometer, I got it up to 70 on the first ride!!

What is the best bang for the buck to get more speed?

Thanks in advance for any feedback given!

The stock speedo is generally always wrong, you need a gps to really get an accurate speed reading.

    RXT

The dream o meter will show 70 but in reality you are probably around 65-67. All kinds of goodies you can through at that machine......prop, grate, fill ride plate holes, stage I, II, III. Just depends on how deep your pockets are. Have fun!

On a RXT only mods I`d do are Riva grate, 2 degree wedge, Riva intake, reverse bucket, fill holes, RR wheel, metal washers, RXP prop and skegs. If you need more than that you need to get an RXP.

Where did Jerry's modding for newbies post get to? That should be required reading for all new members. This same question is asked way too much.

Do a "search" on 01xdime,He is ahead of the pack when it comes to "free mods"
The metal washers before any mods.(ASAP)
Be mindful of the break in period.
Also a GPS or a accelerometer
Compile data @ stock.(RPMs,speed, accel, handling characteristics etc,)
Make your determinations & use this forum & online store (use the greenhulk discount coupons) & watch the classifieds.
After you get it all put together,Bait the first sucker out to the chop & SMOKEM!

RXT4ME2, I would start by reading your owners manual.

"I went 70 on my first ride" So you followed the break in procedure I see.
