Jet Pump Assembly
2010 RXT-X260; Jet pump cracked.
I don't see anything on the "how to" to assemble a Jet Pump.I've ordered all the parts on the OEM drawing. Is there anything important that I should or shouldn't do?

Ed, your shop manual will have the order in which the seals go in and from which direction. And you will need a hydraulic press to put the bearing in properly.

I've ordered and received all the parts to assembly the pump. I'm worried about assembling the bearings & seals without damaging them so I've ordered the three tools the manual says you need. Now I find there is a problem installing the 4 Housing adapters. The manual says there is play in them so you need to mount the pump assembly to a "Spare Ride Plate" then torque the adapters. Oddly enough I don't have a spare ride plate (like most people must have). You cant get to the bolts when it's on the SKI.
Any ideas?? I would think the positioning of these adapters is critical since it sets the alignment of the pump?
I have the new pump mounting bolts with the locking material on them. Is there anything required to "activated" the locking material (besides letting it sit 24 Hrs)? And is the torque the same as the original bolts: 22 ft lbs?
Any help would be appreciated.
