The Genesis is a pretty bulletproof hull design.

Standard Polaris domestic engine model maintenance and checks. Really it is just a stretched out Virage TX.

Know how how the security feature works on the MFI display. You can reset the code to factory default if nobody knows the current code.

The intake grate is unique to the Genesis hull, no aftermarket options.

PERC electric reverse, only works when engine is running or Bilge button is held down. Make sure bilge pump actually works. Lube all the cables and pivot points, jet pump and steering.

Sometimes the LR-505 Start/Stop module will go bad.

Original start solenoids will corrode internally and can fail without warning. If it is the original black body with metal backing plate, just replace it with the new all plastic updated version. Do not wait for it to go bad.

Well im amazed with fresh gas she fired right up and sounds great, how long is the gauge supposed to stay on? also should I do the oil injection block off for this ski......I am an old stand up rider so in most cases this is beneficial......?????

This is not a stand up

Oil injection system tends to be reliable and uses 1/2 the oil of pre-mixing. All that is required is maintaining the system. Primarily checking the oil hoses for age, hardening or abrasion spots. Make sure the hose clamps are in position and properly snug. Change the oil filter. That is about it.

Top up the oil every few tanks of gasoline, level is shown on the display, accurate to 1/4 tank increments. I prefer to keep the oil topped up when it gets down to 1/2 full.

If I was going away for a weekend of riding, I would top up the oil tank on Friday, then go riding all weekend, not even taking any extra oil with me. No need to, since the oil already in the tank would last the whole weekend!

MFI display goes to sleep after five minutes, then shows the clock all the time.
