Islamorada - Florida Keys this Sat/Sun

Come on down and help churn up the water with your jet pumps
this Sat / Sun, March 31 and April 1

Lots of scenery, both marine and human as spring break is
    kicking off.

    http://fabulousvacations.com/smugglerscove.html
This marina/hotel still had space a little while ago, $140
night for 2 queens, easy access to Ocean and bay, decent
    ramps and parking.

    Islamorada this weekend

A couple of pix - the water was great, a little windy,
a quad of dolphins spanked the water in front me, were
they applauding an Ultra?? Hard to say! Maybe they
were challenging me! Got to get a helmet cam!

its a shame they are going to tear down holiday isle for condos/townhomes...

the developers should be limited as to what they can do.....money talks.

Holiday Isle is going to be Holiday Isle for a while. The developer did not get enough pre-construction sales to warrant the demolition. The "Hospitality Expo" aka Bar tenders week is on for this year again. Next week as a matter of fact. May 14th - 15th.
While I am not a big fan of some of the crowd that Holiday Isle attracts I am much more against all the condotels that were in the works down here. Which by the way a lot of them got put aside due to the slowdown in the housing market.
