Any feedback on the gp pro-tec plate?

    Hi,
I can get a new Pro-Tec rideplate for my ski locally for a good price.
Can't get hold of Riva or R&D. (And somebody sold their bullett c/f plate on Ebay without telling me!!).
    Anybody tried one?
    Thanks

I had one it seemed quite good I dont have #s I wasn't using a speedo I had total loss.
    Bought a gps after that.
Handled great speed seemed a bit slower than my R&D cut plate its a short plate mine was real close to the pump.

    Thanks Scott,
Is it shorter than the stock plate, and do you think it has more angle?

There were 2 stock plates I think the 97 was long and 99 was short.
I never had a short stock plate so I dont know.
I had it angled till it was against the pump I dont know if Group K or any of the other guys angle cut the pro tec plate.
I wouldnt ask pro tec they want big money for everything.
If you cant get a R&D plate get the Pro tec it worked good.
My cut R&D plate will be going up for auction if I can sell my 99 (64.4mph on gps.)
I just bought a stock plate to swap out.

Jim at PERFORMANCE said he can do the plate for the gp ... Carl at ISLAND does them too....check the post in old school ,there are some good pics you'd be able to duplicate that work, rather than shipping it oversea's
