My DIY OPAS block offs
Well I made a mistake by trusting some RIVA guy telling me the hull extension block offs for a RXP/RXPX would fit my 03 GTX just fine . lets just say hellllll no they dont even come close, lol, oh well my mistake. That being said I have a nice set of RIVA plates for sell . But I couldnt see paying the insane prices for the simple plates that dont do anything but block the holes. I removed all the OPAS crap and made lexan plates for all 5 spots. Im no perfectionist but it gets the job done for $6 and a morning of my time, well liek $ 12 including the sealant. Hope these pics work.
Was very excited getting these, but no go. ( now 4 sale if interested )
Well that aint gonna work
RT side finished

the rest of it
View of inner plates, cant see the circle one up top.
Took it out a few hours ago to leak test and such, I used the rubber gasket on the circle plate and it seeped so going to seal it up from the inside as soon as I post this. The ski is a lot more nimble and fun now, I really hated them fins lol.

The ones for an RXT would have fit...
Either way the reason for these style, instead of the plates that you made, were to extend the bottom area of the hull and help prevent porpoising...more noticeable on the RXP hull instead of the GTX.RXT...
