    jt1200 stx12f coupling

trying to remove the coupler from the crank. is this thread clockwise or counter clockwise? Having trouble getting it to turn. Fashioned a holder tool for the timing plate. im afraid to bend it. Is their loctite on the shaft and will heat loosen it assuming im turning it the right way. Suggestions appreciated. BTW im using a chain wrench on the coupler and a breaker bar. Motors out and would like to get it back in this weekend. Any pointers would be appreciated. TIA
