Nanoxcel Technology - Is it worth it?

Hi everyone - our family has a VX Deluxe already and love it. Gets us on the water and is cheap to operate (gas). We only have one and we have a family of 4 so we would like to get another one. We found we can get pretty good deals on 2013 (best so far is 7899) and 8499 for the 2014 with Nanoxcel. Just wanted to make sure that I wont be missing anything really special with Nanoxcel. We are currently very happy with the MPG, speed etc of our current 2013 VX Deluxe.

    Thanks!

To be honest I wish my 2014 FZR did not have nonoxcel. I much rather have the heavier & stronger Fiberglass with gelcoat

The biggest downfall as the lack of gel coat. Otherwise unless your using it as a barge and crash into stuff it isn't a problem. Mine took a good hit and was repaired without issue, still good 100 hours later.

It doesn't matter what its made of, we will find a way to break it.
