2001 xlt 1200
hi guys i am new this this forum just looking for a lil help i have a 2001 xlt 1200 with a few mods to it like after market ride plate after market intake grate and prop done trying to find different ways to gain a lil bit more speed any info is much appreciated thanks!

tons of info in the Stickys.
I have the same ski (03).
intake grate, prop, plate, & Pump Stuffer.
Flame arrestors, ditch the cat/sensor mod & fuel accelerator, retune carbs,
a hole shot kit will give you more take off acceleration.
any more than those basic bolt-ons requires fine tuning the plate(mod), head work, etc.

hey thanks for all the info ive done the ride plate intake grate pump stuffer and prop,and i believe the cat/sensor,
what does flame arrestors mean? and a hole shot mean sorry for all the questions just new to this and trying to get info thank bud

F/A are basically intake filters. This eliminates the factory air box.
Holeshot is your acceleration speed out of the hole. Your 0 to hull plane action.
With a lot of cavitation( think wheel spin), you get out of the hole slower.
Drying out the pipe & reduced cavitation will provide increased acceleration, faster starts and reduced time to get your hull on plane.
Read about this mod tho.
*can increase pipe temps, may require new driving style for no wake/slow areas. If improperly installed/fails you can fill your hull with water rather quickly.
I personslly skipped this mod.
