I found it odd that after all the obvious prep that went in to that, he still found it necessary to go put on his banana hammock for the video!!!! hahahahahahahaha

Probably shouldn't say it but this is something I might have done.
Couldn't tell what line but the worst modern line might have a 5,000 lb. working load. The ski has what, 400 - 500 lbs. of thrust?
A bigger concern would be what backing plate was behind the towing point.
The main difference would be that you'd have to hold your wives and daughters back when I'm sportin the rino harness. LOL
