08 Ultra 250x - No Power at Dash, Fuse Blowing
My 250 is blowing the front fuse in the orange box next to the electrical panel (see picture), killing power to the dash gauges. This effectively gives me no way to start it until the fuse is replaced. This happened for the first time before winter when I was winterizing it in the driveway. Today it happened on the lake and stranded me. The fuse blows while the engine is starting. I was able to replicate the failure in the driveway after I got home after starting it a few times.
Not sure what to do, there must be a short somewhere is all I can guess, but I have no idea where to start. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Right now I'm checking the connections from the dash to the fuse box (also shown in picture). Any help is much appreciated, I'm afraid to take it out for the time being...

Have you installed the correct sized fuse

I replaced in kind with a 20A. I did, however, buy the ski used and I haven't been able to find a diagram with the specification for it. Does 20A seem correct?

NicJak, could a bad solenoid cause the fuse to blow?
