Once you have recorded and edited the stereoscopic 3D (I presume) video, will you be able share it with us here?

What does a viewer need in order to experience the 3D effect?

Youtube can support 3D video up to 1080p, it can be viewed both stereoscopic 3D and active shutter 3D if being viewed on a capable 3D TV. I've watched a few 3D videos on my large Samsung TV, youtube TV app and the active shutter glasses and it looks great, but were walking around style videos. Riding on top of a RXP-X in the keys would make some kick ass 3D videos.

All you would need is a pair of those cheap paper glasses with the blue and red lenses, or a 3D capable TV with the ability to view a youtube app (smart TV, Apple TV, PS4 etc)

I've NEVER had an issue with the GP sticky mounts, and, of course, a tether.

I use a very high tech piece of equipment for the tether - a shoe lace.

You know, I've always wondered why..?

Why, with as good as GP is at their market, do they invert one of the cameras?

It brings the two lenses closer together to the proper separation to film 3D. If they were both right side up the lenses would be too far apart.
