Supercharger rotor protection questions
The owners manual for my 2012 Kawasaki Ultra 300LX says to "apply corrosion protection coating to the supercharger rotors - every ride".
Is this really necessary if I only use the Jet Ski on a fresh water lake and what is the benefit of doing this procedure?
For those of you who are doing this procedure, are you using fogging oil or something else?

I would never advise against maintence but I will say I've got 2 fresh water 300's well over 100hrs each neither of which have ever been fogged

I guess if you can't afford $10 for a can of fogging oil that probably last 50+ hours or 10 seconds is too long to be spraying a can.... well... yeah, you know my answer?
