Polaris Virage Acceleration problems
My Virage has problems when I squeeze the accelerator. As I squeeze the throttle slowly, the speed increases and then holds around 25 mph and stays at that speed (even though I am squeezing the throttle all the way), then all of a sudden it will shoot up to 30+. There is no gradual acceleration it just about dumps everyone because it is such a dramatic increase. I am not mechanically incline so I apologize for the laymans description. Any ideas as to what I can do?

What model year is your Virage?
Two or three cylinder engine?
Carburetor or fuel injected engine?
Is this watercraft new to you? Has it ever worked properly for you?
