    Suggestions on modifying 2010 RXT X 260

    Just bought 2010 RXT x 260 has 10 hours on it looking to modify lightly any suggestions and don't know much about the ski if anybody could give me any input thank you

    Pick what you want to do off Scott's list of mods. Then put the rest of his mods on your "to do" list. Look here: http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=212936 Going this route will save you money and time by not installing mods that need to be redone when your need for speed goes to the next level. Only exception, IMO and many others, no need for the BOV. Good luck.

    first thing is I would check to see if the driveshaft is still the stock one or it was changed to the "old style"

    nota matter of if.. its a matter of when it strips out..

    Thanks for the input I'm pretty sure it's the stock driveshaft it only has 10 hrs the ski so I so I heard that it was problems with these driveshafts so I call the deals and they told me not to worry about it should I be worried that some point somebody told me putting A performance prop it could make the C clamp or a bering go on the driveshaft is that true do you know anything about that thank you

    No personal experience only what u read in here most were stock props. Which is why they switched back in 2011 to old style.

    I see you're from Connecticut with you right mostly in I am from New England as well Massachusetts but I ride mostly in Maine or New Hampshire

    Dion I tried sending you a PM, you have it turned off.

    Look at my signature for mods.

    First things to do:

    1. Bilge pump(s).
    2. 4" air intake
    3. R&D grate
    4. Solas 15/20

    all,of this will be a good base line and get you a much better hole shot, acceleration, and max out at 69-70 mph at 8040 rpm. We will talk more when you are ready for the next level.

    learn how to raise the iBr gate - read the owners manual several times.

    check every hose clamp and bolt that it is tight. Keep an eye on the 4 pump bolts, critical that they are torqued 24 ft-lbs with Blue loctite 242, allow to set up 24-48 hours.

    Thanks for the advice I actually just got it back from the dealer and they went through it and change the bolts on the jet pump still learning the website still learning the ski just turn the p.m. back on you wouldn't mind send me private message will keep in touch thank you
