Rust Protection! What Should I use?
I allways wash my trailer after each use, but using it in saltwater is not helping. My 2006 Karavan Trailer is already starting to rust especialy the leef springs. What can I put on the metal to stop it from rusting? Can anybody recomend a good rust stopper....Please.....Thanks for any info...

Rust from the springs is normal and can not be helped, you can always powdercoat it.

Use Salt-Away every time you are on salt water.....Then coat everything you can with some silicone based lubricant....Or the expensive ass Bombardier lube...

wd40 on metal parts, that arent powdercoated or galvanized.
the springs are VERY thick, and usually rust no matter what you do, not a big deal. its the trailer!!!
as long as your ski is pretty who cares what the trailer looks like!

maybe some heavy grease smeared all over the springs...
that would stick for a long time, and not wash off easily.
slather it on with a pair of rubber gloves.
