    Unhappy Trim problem 300x

    Hi.
My trim did not work today. Was locked in the lowest position. Tried a couple of times to press the button
up and down when in the water. Tried again when I was on land nothing. Went to look at the pump. There I found two rocks jammed between the nozzle and the pump.
I removed the rocks but nothing. It's locked. Can I burnt the engine?
I assume there is a fuse, where is it located?
    Thanks for your help.

I think there is a fuse for it by the solenoid located by the battery.

Thanks. Found two flat fuses 2.0 and two round fuses in connection to the plus cable. Could anyone with a service manual
tell me which is to the trim motor. Unfortunally just by looking it's impossible to tell. Thanks guys.

Update: found the fuse. And it was burnt. And it continues to burn the fuse when replaced when I try
to operate the trim. Does anybody have some experience with this?
    What should I start with?
    thanks

    G'day,

What year is your 300? '13 on wards moved the trim to righthand side and a few have come loose and been wrecked and need replacing, did yours do this before blowing the fuse? Otherwise the cable is seized or something is still jammed in there, take the bucket off to have a good look around and undo the cable and see if it moves freely.

Hi. My ski is a 2011.
disconnected the nozzle from the cable. The nozzle was free, so tried to use the trim without the nozzle, burned the fuse again. So that leaves the trim motor or the cable. The trim motor looks clean no sign of water. Is there any way to lubricate the cable?

You've got an electrical short. Could be the motor but unless you have an idea of what you're doing I would take it to the dealer or an auto electrician. Good luck

Put a bigger fuse in and smoke it out
