New 2009 RXP-X value help please......

    Hey guys,

I found a new (6 hrs, demo) 2009 RXP-X. It will be sold with a BRP 1 year warranty. It has 6 hrs on it and a few scratches on the middle/bottom.

    1) What is this ski worth?

    2) What is a real GPS top speed stock (faster then my stock GTR215?)?

    Thanks in advance,

PS I have a Spark coming and was going to either buy a 2nd spark after a test ride on the 1st spark (to make sure I like) or buy a GTR (have had 2 GTRs already)......now I found this and am confused. Will I really miss the IBR??

It's a bit odd to see a 5 year old "demo" ski with only 6 hours.... something smells fishy here How much are they asking for the ski?

Its VERY odd, that why I like it. My local dealer bought some seadoos from a tiny dealer that was going out of business. heck, there is a local Yamaha dealer that has a new 1979 Yamaha SRX sled (now THATS rare).

I can buy it for around $7000 (haven't arm wrestled yet for best price).

If you can get that thing out the door for $7k or less with a 1 year factory warranty..... I'd jump all over that!

That's what I like to hear!!

I truly didn't know it was a good deal. Honostly, I can probably buy it for $6700 plus tax (6800 at the most).

What does the "X" give it over just an RXP?

40 HP and nicer steering system!

The 08-09 RXP-X's were in high demand those two years... most people were paying around $13k for them. Dealers wouldn't budge on them as everyone wanted one.... many jacked up the retail price.

68-70 mph. With just an aftermarket intake grate, and prop it'll run 72-74 mph

This hull has a large pump tunnel.... you have to be very careful with what you do to it, even in stock form. These ski's have sent a lot of people on an unexpected swim.
