    Impressive break-in results PX-260

Hey guys, saw some impressive numbers on my stock PX last night. Mid 60s temp, 1/4 tank of 93 octane, light chop.. Consistent 69-70 mph @ 8100 RPM on hour 4! This machine has really opened up and the acceleration is redic. Looking forward to a wicked season on this beast!

How is that stock? I thought they were limited to 67 in the US? Non-US?

What's crazy is that I'm not even through the 5 hour break-in. My brother's FZS does 75 stock so the whole limited-to-67 thing isn't all that true apparently.

It varies. My 2013 Rxtx went 68+ at about 3 1/2 hrs.

Have you used a GPS yet? My odometer will also go over 70 but the highest GPS speed my PX has achieved is 68.
Have you and your brother raced yet?

I'm at 68mph on dreamometer @8040 rpm 8hrs on clock. Air 85F water 70F. Pretty good numbers for 4 hrs. The fzs is a monster on glass but race him in a light chop and watch him come unglued.

He was walking away from me on straightaways for the first 3 hours of break-in, now i'm hangin' right with him. We're scaring old ladies on pontoon boats

Good to hear. Yamaha is claiming a 1.3 sec 0 to 30 for the FZR. And they are also saying the PX needs 2 sec to hit 30.
