    tommy,
    Maybe start with some
    Flame arrestors
    Performance Reeds
Dome mods to raise the compression
Carb mods for the flame arrestors and higher compression

Does it have the long jet pump? If not, I'd do that with a 6 vane pump stator. Does it have a 4 blade impeller? If so, get a 3 blade aftermarket impeller. No engine mods required, and should get you 3-4 MPH (maybe a little more) with better turning. If it does have these already, follow PH20 advice.

The best bang for the buck on my SLT 780 was the prop (NUJET) and the 6 degree wedge. We also had the ocean pro rideplate put on. All together I think is was 3mph and did not break the bank.

You can cut off the back section of the sponson and still gain some more speed without sacrificing handling.

Hey ph2ocraft, I did that based on your review a year ago and that is the best bang for the buck! about a .5mph gain for free. cant beat that.

Yup, works good. It's an old Billy Womack mod for endurance racing, they were always working on ways to get the nose UP.

Good question. Maybe see if some of those Yami guys wants to give up a set of sponsons they removed when installing their Riva stuff. An extra set would be nice to experiment with.
