old combo basically stock except, rear air, thru hull, riva rideplate, opas removed, 160 therm, 14/19 prop, catchcan ran a best of 71.5mph 8100-8150rpms(almost glass water 2-3 bars of fuel., now it has, New supertech valves, X blower, 42 lbs inj,15/20 prop, new wear ring, it gets on the rev limiter when you first punch it, and on top end..i can run 8150 about 3/4 throttle about 70mph...it was real windy today and water was alittle rough full tank of fuel. water is about 20 degrees colder than normal. whats the best thing to do to get the rpms down..thanks

Add some pitch, and u could get a Riva nozzle, with a smaller diameter
    Ring.

    raise the rev limit!
the 1500 likes a few extra rpms
8300+ is a safe place to run um hard
and with the bigger injectors your probably rich off boost

is that something a dealer can door or do i need to buy something..funds are low right now...cheaper the better since the supertech valves are lighter than stock would it be ok to raise the limiter since i dont have the lighter retainers? I would like to get the best mph out of it would raising the limiter or pitching the prop be the best?

normally i dont ride this early in the year.. the air temp was 85 water was 73...normally during the summer here in texas its air temp is 95-105 and water temp 88-93(yeah its hot..small lake). do you think once it gets hotter the rpms will that drop the rpms down or will it make it worse?

You are maxed out for the 14/19. The rpms will drop down but not sure how much...Its not good to be able to peg the limiter at wot while cruising. Its could cause engine damage. I think ideally you want your wot rpms to be about 100 rpms below your limiter during what would be your coldest normal riding temp. That way you're always safe and always off the limiter all season long. If you dont want to upgrade the prop then you will have to have the prop repitched. Better safe than blown up and watching the season from the shore.

I guess the seadoo dealer(next town) is closed on mondays..I going to see about raising my rpm limiter...I know i dont have the titanium retainers but i do have the supertech lighter valves and i do have the upgraded flywheel bolts. You think its safe for my combo? what should i raise it to 8500-8600? im sure i wont hit that but that way i dont have to worry about it in the future..I have a external intercooler but i wont install it to next season. what would get me the best mph..repitching or raising the limiter..or both? thank guys

imo 8300-8350 with stock valve train
your supposed to upgrade the springs and retainers when you upgrade the valves
how and why would your dealer raise the rpm limit
