    2005 RXT Bow Steering question??

Compared to a RXP can you help the RXT from bow steering. Plows under 4000RPM . Much Better 5500-8000 RPM. Would a fixed 3 degree wedge in the pump help or raising the OPAS paddles? Even if it had VTS I would have it maxed out 99 percent of the time..

we use the big hse sponsons to conteract that.

ask azuras on the forum here as he has been trialling mods to a 07rxt. he also found it was skittish in large chop

Personally...I found that adding a 2* wedge made the ride squirly. I put skegs on mine...greatly improved straight line tracking in the chop. Reduced fatigue as well.

Are you guys running OPAS paddles in the the stock location? RXT raise the paddles with water pressure off the pump. I had read somewhere some where spacing them up. & plugging he water line off the pump hsg.

Worx grate: mild improvement to tracking in chop
Opas delete: mild improvement to tracking in chop
2 wedge : decent improvement (less nose in water = less wave steer)
Hse sponsons in mid position 1 slot down : massive improvement

And all of them together = wot fuck the chop

Skegs get installed on the rideplate

All they are is a couple of strips of metal that get welded to the ride plate (like flat but long fins)

If you havent got an aftermarket grate yet id do that first

I know the worx grate forms a couple of skegs by it protruding down below the hull hence my above statement that it gave an improvement

Also noticed the mention of plowing

    Wedge and throttle solve that

    Wedge gets nose up
Throttle keeps you skipping on top
