    Pump Upgrade questions?

    I have a 2002 gpr 1200 that is now a 1390 GK. I have a 130 hrs on the pump. .017 wear between the pump and the blades of the impeller(new impeller.... so I also have a 2004 1300r with 21 hrs on it. would it be worth swapping pumps?
    What would be the best way to do it?
    What parts should be where when I am done? I see that the 2004 has the longer pump with spacer, so I will need to swap steering cable. But what is the best bang for what I got?

    OSIDE makes extensioms for the cables.

    My wore out 1200 pump has .008 clearence. You need to look for a new liner IMO.

    If I get a liner, who is the best to bore it? or can I use my 04 pump parts. I don' care how fast it goes. the wife is having twins and does NOT need to go fast. and this may be my LAST summer of fun. if ya know what I mean....
