    69 seadoo xp electric issues

    Hi new here
    seen if any body could help I have two 96 seadoo xp but one when i put the key on nothing happens iv found the 5 amp fuse blow but keeps blowing as soon as i put another in iv tried a few things iv seen on here an I'm pretty mechanically inclined iv Un hooked the starter,stator, an the trim motor still pops the fuse.but I did find that if I take out the 15 amp fuse out in the back it doesn't pop what is this fuse for? Or what could be the problem? Thanks

    Did you disconnect the vts plugs? I think there are two.

    Yes there was one in the back an three in the front an still popped. Also i tried another starter relay same thing it's puzzling me .
    Also it's a 96 headline says 69.lol

    Willing to bet that your MPEM is fried. Push and hold the start button with the key off and report back what it does. Also make sure that there is an unblown fuse in the mpem at the time you do this.

    Well the thing is the 5 amp keeps blowing as soon as i put it in the mpem.so I don't think that Wil work.

    okay well press and hold the start button with key off and let us know the beep combo that it spits back.

    It won't give me nothing I'm guessing cause the amps blown.i also tried to unplug Rectifier but it still pops.

    the 5 amp fuse I beleive is from your VTS. Is the vts motor unplugged? What is the condition of your 15 amp fuse? Send a pic of the inside of your box so know which side is blowing. There is 2 similar looking modules in there and one is for your trim and the other for your CDI.

    Ok I'll do that when I get home but I did unplug the vts motor it still popped.
    I did find out that if I unplug the coil it won't blow the fuse I tried another coil same thing.
