    FZS Impeller recommendation

I have a 13 FZS with the mods in my signature with the addition of a R&D intake I am about to add. Currently I have a R&D 13/23 twin prop on there and it is just too much for my ski. I am more interested in holeshot and acceleration over top speed. What do you guys recommend?

Well you can see where my rpms are with my mods in my signature, if you add a reflash and go 13/20 or 19 and you'll have a great holeshot with acceleration. Going to need a wheel and IC to push that current prop you've got.

If you don't plan on doing anything else to it, go with a 13/21. If you plan on doing more in the future, like an intercooler, wheel, and reflash, keep the one you have. You could also open up your exit nozzle to 85mm and you'll see some improvement.

what you have is what accelerates the hardest i would just add enough power to push it.

I bought the twin because I got it for a steal. I had a feeling it would be too much. I'm not sure I am ready to reflash and add boost. I know these yamahas are reliable but there more you mess with stuff the more it breaks. I'll probably just save the twin prop for later.

Compared to the 13/23 twin I have? Right now it sucks. I thought I was originally cavitating out of the hole but it just cant turn the prop fast enough.

Actually now that I think about it, I was running a 13/22 with similar mods. It pulled pretty hard. I was running it with the stock nozzle bored to 85mm. Easy to bore it yourself with a flap wheel or drum wheel on a drill. I used a drum.

Or maybe a Solas DynaFly 13/22R?
