    Mandrel Bending Solutions

I dropped my ski off yesterday at Mandrel Bending Solutions in Pasadena,MD (yeah they're less than a mile from my house! Sweet!) to get thru hull exhaust and intercooler plumbing done. Today i stopped by around closing time to find Joe the shop manager working on my ski after everyone had left. I removed the left block off so he could get to the t-bolt clamps on the tip. I stayed and watched/helped for a while. He had a pipe bent out of 2.5" stainless and it was about 1/4" too short so he threw it away and quickly made another one 1/4" longer. He noted that this was the 5th or 6th one he had tried. This one was perfect. Beautiful bends as well. I can't wait to stop by tomorrow and see how my intercooler plumbing turns out. These guys do awsome work and take pride in it. They're prices are also very competitive considering how uncommon mandrel bending shops are. The prices on their hardware are hard to beat as well.

I bought a used one BUT i'm working with them on some ideas for a kit that would be way cheaper than Riva or Rotax.

Thats a good idea, Riva ones are way to expensive for a few bent pipes IMO.

I'll ask Joe at MBS tomorrow if they'll work. I'm pretty sure they will since all he has to do is digitize them. How much are you asking for them Joe?

o1xdime, i think they need to be 2.75" if i am correct.....if they can bend them out of polished aluminum that would be hott.....judging by their prices online, these would probly be in the $75 range, i would deff buy a set..
