    J pipe t bolt clamp..

...the t bolt clamp that holds my jpipe onto the manifold appears to be really stuck on there.. I've loosened the bolt and removed the one side from the side of the clamp and it's still pretty stuck in there..

I've been trying to pry it up with a screwdriver and no dice.. And tips for getting the jpipe out or the waterbox out from the jpipe? I'm wanting to mod my waterbox and this is the only thing holding me up... Thanks guys

I had the same problem. Where the bolt goes through the round housing, it was full of some sort of locker substance almost like a stiff putty. Pounding on it would not break it free. Once the nut is off, use steady pressure to widen the clamp and it will break free.

i got the clamp undone.. i didnt have the problem with the bolt its self, it was the groove in the clamp that holds the manifold to the pipe.. nothing a prybar and a hammer couldnt handle.

i was just worried about snapping the clamp..

on a side note, free flow exhaust with thru hull is on its way!... the waterbox is shortened and gutted and is currently at the welder.. i think im going to throw a couple coats of black paint on it when it comes back and call it a day.. i cant wait to hear what this thing sounds like..
