Ski lift question
Thanks for the help in advance. I have a 2012 fx sho cruiser (love it) and I want to put it on my ski lift. The 2 supports are like a 2x4. This is not nearly tall enough to keep the ski from hitting the metal supports or frame. The ski is after all a v shape. I am thinking of using a 2x12 to raise the ski or keep it from hitting the frame of the lift. What angle should I cut the wood so more area of the ski comes in contact with the support 2x12. Should I just adjust the with to match the tynes or notched hull. My trailer support is hinged so the wood support supports a lot of the hull not just a sliver. Any suggestions would be great.
I'm pretty sure I'm not the first to buy a lift and say really... Now what do I buy to fix what I just bought.

You could also pick up a set of bolster brackets and a set of u-bolts to lift the 2X4's up. (Such as this: http://www.boatersland.com/scp55350....FVR5MgodmxAAvg ). That would basically make it look like the trailer brackets.
