    PRV's sticking open

I have two PRV's and the left one sticks open every single time it opens up. If I stop, I have to reach back and stick my finger in the end to pop it back closed, otherwise, from idle, it will spin like I forgot to install a wear ring. It's annoying as hell. Once popped closed, it'll jump from the hole.
Any lube secrets for these things? I don't want to swap it out unless absolutely necessary. There isn't debris in it or the line either.

use some silicone grease or o-ring lube
some springs are not stainless and may not work long in salt water

I bought them off ebay years ago, but read about the rxp platform not needing them until 90, and I wasn't there yet. lol
I never have ridden in salt water, but I'll keep that in mind about the stainless springs.
The brass fittings, hose, and clamps were bought at Lowes, while the drill bit and tap were bought at Texas Tool.
I'm still breaking her in, and only on my second tank of fuel. Anything around 60-70 and they seem to open up. I pulled a single one second wot run, but that's it. It spun a 15/25 over 8500 instantly... I giggled a little bit. I think my fuel pump shot craps today though. I'll diagnose next week some time.
