4 Blade or 3 Blade
Hey guys. What's your opinion on Props? I just did an XCharger Upgrade with 42lb injectors and am running around 8160RPM @ WOT. I am interesting in swapping my stock prop to a 15/20 to lower RPM's but do I want a 3-Blade or 4-Blade. I typically ride in choppy water around Cape Cod. Which would suit me best and what are the pro' s and cons? Thank you ahead of time, I always appreciate all of your help!

A Skat 13/18 3 blade is pretty close for those mods on an RXT with a stock IC

I'm running a stock IC right now. What's expected to happen to my RPM's once I throw in an external IC? Should I get a 13/18 over a 15/20???

What's the air temperature at the moment? If you expect warmer weather those rpms will drop a bit.. So changing your prop at the moment will give you a slower ski.

seat of pants feeling
3 blade has better acceleration from low to mid speed
4 blade mid to top end punch is alot better.
3 blade turns more rpm at cruising speed vs 4 blade with same pitch.
to slow my rxt down to mid 80's, i run a 3 blade and its never smooth where we are

So I have decided to do the 3-blade. Now do I want the 13/18 or the 15/20? Or does it depend if im gonna put the external IC in? Again, my RPM's right now are 8160 WOT with stock impeller and I was hopnig to bring RPM down to save my motor and get better performance.

3 bladed are harder to turn to a degree, get the 13/18, u may need to add more pitch with ext i/c but each ski is different

Look...not trying to be a dck...but something's wrong.
With that much more boost and fuel over stock...with an oem prop...you should be plastered to the hard limiter of what....8300...for an '07?
Point I'm trying to make...if you aren't on the limiter now...you ain't gonna be happier with a taller prop.
